Ambica Enterprises

Ambica Enterprises is located at 545 Kitchan Garden Lane, right in the heart of the Fort area. It is one of those old buildings where you can really feel the history of the city. We have been working out of this space for a long while now. The lane is usually crowded with people rushing to work or vendors moving their carts around. Inside, it is a bit quieter, but we stay busy with whatever the day brings. Most of the time, we are just managing supplies and making sure our records are straight. It is a small operation, so everyone does a bit of everything. One minute you are answering the phone and the next you are moving boxes in the back room. Fort is a great place to be because everything is so close, even if the traffic is a nightmare. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It is just a functional office with desks and files everywhere. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the window when the monsoon is heavy, so we have to keep an eye on that. We like the routine of coming in, grabbing a tea from the guy downstairs, and getting to work. It is not glamorous but it is our livelihood. We just try to keep things running smooth and stay on top of the daily tasks. It takes a lot of effort just to stay organized around here and keep the paperwork from piling up too high.
