Sri Meenakshi Traders

We’re located at 502, Abhay Steel House on Baroda Street. That’s in the Masjid (East) area, which is always incredibly busy. Sri Meenakshi Traders is the name we go by. It’s a lot of hustle and bustle around here every single day. Being on the fifth floor gives us a bit of a break from the noise on the street, but not much. Baroda Street is famous for all the trading that goes on. We’ve been here for quite some time now. Our office is small and filled with ledgers and samples. It’s a traditional kind of place. We don't really do the modern corporate thing. We deal with suppliers and customers mostly over the phone or in person when they climb up to see us. The elevators in these old buildings can be a bit slow, so we get our exercise. It’s a very practical environment. We don't have a mission statement on the wall. We just try to get the orders filled and the shipments moved. It’s a demanding area to work in because everything moves so fast. But we like the energy of Masjid. It’s where the real business happens. We’re just one of many traders trying to do a good job. We keep our heads down and focus on the daily numbers. It’s a busy life, but it suits us just fine.
