Spencer Stuart

We’re up here on the 11th floor of Avanta House in Worli. It’s a tall building and sometimes you have to wait a while for the elevator, especially during the morning rush when everyone is trying to get to their offices. Once you get inside our space at Spencer Stuart, it’s actually pretty quiet. We have a few desks set up and the light comes in well through the big windows. You can see a lot of the city from this high up, though we usually stay focused on the papers on our desks. The office isn’t anything too special, just a standard place to work with a few file cabinets and chairs that have been around for a bit. We don't have any of those fancy modern lounges or anything like that. It’s just a place where we come to do our jobs every day. Sometimes the air conditioning gets a bit too cold, so a couple of us keep sweaters at our desks even when it's hot outside in Worli. We usually grab lunch from one of the small places nearby or just bring something from home and eat while we work. It’s a busy environment but we’ve gotten used to the flow of things here. There’s always someone on the phone or typing away. It feels like a real, working office where things actually get done. We’ve been here at this address for a good while now and it suits us just fine.
