Spares & Components Company

Our office is up on the 4th floor, so we spend a lot of time waiting for the lift or just walking up if we are in a hurry. The address says Nagdevi Bangalore Palace Ground on Bellary Road, and we are situated right behind Abdul Rehmans Street. It is a bit of a trek to get all the heavy components up here, but we manage. The space is mostly filled with metal parts, spare bits for machinery, and lots of cardboard boxes. There is usually dust on the shelves no matter how much we clean because of all the inventory moving in and out. We spend the morning answering calls and checking what is left in the crates. It’s a working environment, not a showroom, so there are tools lying around and oil stains on some of the benches. Sometimes the street noise from below is quite loud, especially with all the trucks loading and unloading near the palace ground area. We get a lot of technicians and builders coming in looking for specific sizes of bolts or custom components. It’s a lot of manual work, checking lists and making sure the right part goes to the right person. We drink a lot of tea while we sort through the orders. It’s a steady rhythm of work that keeps us busy from morning until late evening. We have been in this spot for years and know the street well.
