Sotc

Sotc is situated in Mahim, over on Mogal Lane at C-2, Prakash Nagar. This part of Mumbai has a very specific feel to it, with narrow lanes and old buildings crowded together. Our office is in one of these smaller blocks, and it feels very much like a local neighborhood spot. We don't have a lot of extra space, so every desk is usually covered in papers and folders. The Mogal Lane area is always busy, and you can hear the sounds of the local market and the traffic from the main road nearby. We have a small window that lets in some light, but it mostly looks out onto the wall of the next building. The air inside can get a bit stuffy during the monsoon when we have to keep the windows shut against the rain. We have a small pantry area where we keep a kettle and some biscuits for the afternoon. It is a very humble setup, and we prefer it that way because it keeps things simple. The staff here knows the area well, and we often step out to the local stalls for a quick snack or to run errands. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office; we just want a place where we can sit down, answer our emails, and get our work done. It is a basic, functional space in the heart of Mahim.
