Soneji Water Transport

Operating out of Borivali West on 3rd Cross 8 keeps us pretty busy most of the week. Water transport is one of those things people don't think about until they really need it. We’ve got our trucks and our routes, and we try to stick to the schedule as best as the traffic allows. Anyone who lives in this part of town knows how the roads can get during rush hour. We spend a lot of time checking the tanks and making sure the drivers know where they’re going. It’s a lot of physical work, honestly. Dealing with hoses and heavy valves in the sun isn't for everyone. We’ve had the same few guys working here for a long time, so they know the shortcuts around the back lanes. The office is small, just enough space for the ledgers and a couple of chairs. We don't spend much time sitting down though. Usually, there’s a call coming in from someone who needs a delivery fast because their tank ran dry. We do what we can to get there. It’s just how the business goes. Some days are long and exhausting, especially when it rains heavy and the roads turn into a mess, but we manage. We aren’t looking to change much about how we do things. Just keeping the water moving to where it belongs is enough for us to feel like we've done our job.
