Our office for Klean Environmental Consultants Pvt. Ltd. is at 17 Vishwa Vinay on Bhagoji Keer Marg. We’re tucked away in Mahim West, which is a part of the city that has its own kind of rhythm. The building is an older one and our space is filled with piles of reports and environmental samples we’ve collected. It’s not the kind of place that looks like a high-tech lab. It’s more like a busy workspace where people are constantly reading through data or preparing for site visits. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing up findings for various projects. The street outside, Bhagoji Keer Marg, can get pretty cramped with cars and people walking to the local shops. We usually have a window open to let some air in, even if it brings in the city noise. We aren't big on corporate titles or anything like that. Most of us just have our own corner with a desk and a lamp. We drink a lot of tea while we go through all the paperwork. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Friday. Sometimes we have to go out into the field, which is a nice change from being in Mahim. We just focus on getting the details right in our reports and keeping our files organized. It’s a practical, no-frills kind of office.
