Sonal Plastics

We are over in Malad West on Aundh Road, specifically at K 78/79. Sonal Plastics has been around this part of Malad for quite a few years. Our floor is always covered in some kind of plastic shavings or scraps. It’s a manufacturing spot, so don't expect it to be clean like a hospital. We have machines running most of the time, so it gets pretty warm inside. We wear old clothes because things get greasy and dusty. We make all sorts of plastic items here. Some days we are running the same mold for ten hours straight. Other days we are switching things up and trying to fix a machine that’s acting up. The workers here have been with us for a long time. We know each other's families and stories. Aundh Road is a busy place for small industries like ours. There’s always a truck backing in or someone picking up a small order. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. If someone needs something, they usually just call or stop by the gate. We have a small cabin for the paperwork, but most of the action is on the factory floor. It’s noisy and it’s sweaty work, but it’s what we do. We’re just regular people making plastic stuff for whoever needs it. It gets the bills paid and keeps us out of trouble.
