Sona Luggage House

You can find Sona Luggage House right in the Mumbai Central area. We are located in the Ho building, specifically in Room Number 54 on the 2nd Floor of B Block. Being on the second floor means we are a bit removed from the immediate chaos of the street, but you can still hear the trains and the traffic from the windows. The building is one of those older structures where the hallways are a bit narrow and you have to know where you are going to find the right block. We have stacks of bags, suitcases, and travel gear filling up the room. It gets a bit cramped when a new shipment arrives, and we have to shuffle things around to make space for people to walk. Mumbai Central is always a hub of activity, so there are always people looking for something to carry their things in. We don't have a big storefront on the ground level, so most people find us by word of mouth or by looking at the directory near the stairs. The lift in the building can be a bit slow sometimes, so many people just take the stairs up to the second floor. It is a basic setup with simple wooden counters and fluorescent lights. We spend our hours showing different sizes of luggage to anyone who makes the trip up to see us. It gets a little hot in the afternoons, but we have a couple of old fans that do the job just fine.
