Solas Equipments

Solas Equipments is tucked away in Gala No-15-16, near the Navyug Industrial Estate in JB Nagar. It’s right off the Andheri Kurla Road, so the noise of the metro and the traffic is something we hear all day long. We’re close to the Kohinoor Continental hotel, which helps people find us in this maze of industrial units. We mostly deal with safety gear and marine supplies. Our space is basically a big warehouse full of boxes and shelves. It’s not a showroom; it’s a working unit where we pack orders and check gear. The light isn't great inside, but we know our way around the stacks of equipment. We have a small team of people who handle the heavy lifting and the shipping. It gets pretty cramped when a new shipment arrives, and we’re tripping over crates for a few days until we get it all sorted. We don't bother with a lot of decorations or corporate branding. The walls are plain, and the desks are old. It’s about getting the equipment out to the people who need it on their ships or at the docks. Andheri is always crowded, so getting stuff in and out can be a challenge with the traffic, but we’ve been doing it long enough to know the best times for the trucks. It's just a regular business doing regular work. We just try to stay on top of the orders and keep things moving along.
