Sleek Electro-Polymers Pvt Ltd is based in Malad West, at 2B/2. We aren't as big as the name might make us sound. It’s actually a pretty small operation. We work with different kinds of polymers and electrical components. The workspace is usually filled with the sound of machinery and the smell of processed materials. I started this business in a much smaller room and eventually moved here. It’s mostly just me and a small crew of workers who have been with me for years. We don't have a fancy lobby or a secretary. If you come to the door, one of us will probably come out with grease on our hands to talk to you. Our main focus is just getting the orders out on time. Sometimes we stay late to finish a batch if the machines were acting up earlier in the day. The office part is just a desk in the corner with a computer that’s a few years old. We keep our records in big binders on the shelf. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. We don't spend money on fancy ads. We just talk to our regular clients and take it from there. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know how to do. We just keep moving forward every single day. The floor is stained but it shows how much we have worked.
