Singapore Collection

We are located over at Parel on Productivity Road, at number 581. Parel has changed a lot lately with all the new buildings, but our street still feels like the old part of the city in some ways. Our shop is where we keep all the stock we’ve gathered. It’s a mix of things that we think people might find useful or interesting. The shelves are pretty tall and we have to use a ladder to get to the top ones. Sometimes things get a bit dusty if they’ve been sitting there for a while, so we try to move stuff around once a week to keep it fresh. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so you’ll usually see one of us behind the small counter near the entrance. We don't have a big fancy display window, just the glass door and some signs. People walking by often peek in to see what we have. We spend a lot of our time checking deliveries and making sure the prices are marked clearly. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We might be drinking tea or talking to a neighbor when you walk in. The floor is made of old tile that’s a bit cracked in the corners, but it holds up well enough. We like being on Productivity Road because it’s easy for people to find us once they know the landmark. It’s just a simple shop where we show up every morning and wait to see who comes through the door. Singapore Collection is just our little corner here.
