You can find us on the ground floor of Sahakar Bahvan, Shop No. 1. We are right in the middle of the Katha Bazar area on Narshi Natha Street in Masjid West. It’s a very old part of the city and it’s always packed with people and carts moving goods around. We deal with drip irrigation and sprinkler systems. Most of the people who come to see us are looking for ways to water their crops or gardens more efficiently. The shop is filled with rolls of piping and different kinds of plastic valves and nozzles. It can be a bit overwhelming if you aren't sure what you’re looking for, but we usually just ask what someone is trying to grow and go from there. Being in Masjid West means we are close to the docks and the railway, so it’s a noisy place to work. We spend a lot of time explaining how the pressure works and which drippers are best for different soils. There’s no air conditioning in the shop, so we keep the doors wide open to catch whatever breeze comes off the street. We’ve been in this building for a long time and know all the neighbors. It’s a practical business, helping folks save water and keep their plants alive. We don't use any fancy sales talk, just show them how the pipes connect and what works best.
