Sibaa Chairs & Furniture

We’ve been here at Sunshine Plaza in Dadar East for a good while now. Our shop is at number 13 on the ground floor, so people just walk in when they need a new chair for their desk or something for the house. The shop isn't fancy. Most days, we are just moving things around to make space or checking the stock that came in on the truck. Dadar is always busy, you know how it is with the crowds. Traffic outside is constant, but inside we just focus on the furniture. People come in looking for something comfortable for their back. Sometimes they sit in every chair we have before picking one. We don't mind that. It's just part of the job. Some of the desks we have are quite heavy, so moving them takes two or three of us. We try to keep things organized but with so many pieces, it gets a bit crowded. My small desk is tucked in the back corner behind a big stack of plastic office chairs. If someone calls, I usually have to step outside to talk because the phone reception isn't great inside the building. We just keep at it every day. It’s a simple business. We open up in the morning, dust everything off, and wait for the first person to walk in. Sometimes it's quiet, and then suddenly three people walk in. We just handle it as it comes. There isn't much more to say. We are just here helping people find a place to sit.
