Shyama Plastic

Shyama Plastic is located inside the Super Shopping Complex at Rajashree Colony, right in the heart of Masjid Bunder West. We are at shop number 249. If you’ve ever been to this complex, you know it’s a bit of a climb through the corridors to find everything. Our shop is filled with all kinds of plastic items, from containers to household stuff. It’s pretty packed in here, so you have to watch your step between the boxes. We spend a lot of our time counting stock and helping people find specific sizes of tubs or bins. It’s a simple business. We get our supplies, we stack them up, and we sell them to whoever walks in. The light in the complex isn't the brightest, so we have a few extra bulbs in the shop to see what we’re doing. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, but we have a small fan that helps. We’ve known the other shopkeepers around here for years. It’s a tight-knit community in this building. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just rely on people knowing we’re here at 249. Sometimes the delivery truck gets stuck in the narrow street outside, which is always a headache. But that's just part of working in this area. We keep things basic and just focus on the inventory we have on hand.
