Shubham Publicity

Shubham Publicity is tucked away in Shop No 8 on Siddhivinayak Lane. If you are at Hanuman Mandir Chowk in Santacruz West, you are basically right around the corner from us. We are quite close to Gazdar Bandh Road, so there is always a bit of a breeze coming through, which is nice when it gets humid. The shop is mostly taken up by big tables where we lay out banners and publicity materials. We have been in this spot for a good while, and the walls show it, with bits of old tape and marks from years of work. It’s a bit of a walk from the main station, but people still find their way here. We don't have a big fancy sign outside, just the usual stuff. Most days are spent dealing with local vendors or people who need something printed for a local event. The lane is usually pretty narrow, so when a delivery truck comes, everything stops for a few minutes while they unload. We keep a small radio in the back that mostly plays old songs, though nobody really pays attention to it. It’s a simple life, and we don't try to make it more than what it is. We just focus on the work on the table and try to get it done before the sun goes down. Sometimes we stay late when there is a big order, but that is rare. Most of the time we just close up and head home.
