Shroti Online is based over in Goregaon. It’s not some big flashy office building with glass walls, it’s just a regular place where we manage all the online stuff. Being in Goregaon means there is always noise and traffic outside, but inside we just try to keep our heads down and get the work done. We started this because we saw how everyone was starting to buy things through their phones and computers, so we figured we should get into that too. Most of our day is spent sitting in front of screens, making sure orders are moving along and everything is updated. It’s a bit different from a shop where people walk in off the street all day long. Here, it’s more about the digital side of things. Sometimes the internet connection acts up, which is a real headache, but we find a way to fix it eventually. Goregaon is a decent place to be located because it’s fairly easy to get around from here if we need to go somewhere for supplies. We don't have a massive staff, just a small group of people who know how things work. We aren't trying to be some giant corporation, we’re just a local business trying to do a good job every single day. It usually gets pretty quiet in the late afternoons, which is when we get most of the boring paperwork done. Then things pick up again in the evening. It’s just a normal work life for us here.
