Shripal Mobile is located right in the middle of Kurla East. I started this place because I always liked taking things apart to see how they worked. Now, most of my day is spent looking at tiny screws and wires. The shop isn't very big, so if three customers come in at once, it feels a bit crowded. We have a glass display case that has been there since day one. It holds some older handsets and some newer ones too. People in Kurla are always in a rush, so I try to work as fast as I can without making mistakes. Sometimes the tea stall next door brings over a cutting chai, and that’s the best part of the afternoon. We don’t have a big staff, just me and a cousin who helps out when he isn't at college. We deal with a lot of water damage cases, especially during the monsoon season when everyone forgets their umbrella. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, maybe blue or off-white, but there’s never a quiet moment to get it done. My desk is usually covered in tools and old SIM cards. We keep things simple here. If we can fix it, we tell you. If we can't, we tell you that too. No point in making people wait for nothing. It’s just how we do things in this part of town. I hope the weather stays clear this week so people can come out.
