Shreeyash Sign Art

Our place, Shreeyash Sign Art, is at R/13 in Sai Nagar. We are right on the Andheri Kurla Road, specifically in the Marol Pipeline area of Andheri East. If you know Mumbai, you know how hectic this area is. There is constant noise from the traffic and the metro construction or whatever else is going on outside. The shop is small and can get very hot during the summer months. We do a lot of signage work, so there are always pieces of acrylic or metal lying around. It’s a bit of a squeeze to move around when we have a big sign half-finished on the floor. Being in Marol Pipeline means everything is always covered in a thin layer of dust from the road. We spend a lot of time just trying to keep the workspace clear enough to actually work. It’s a very practical shop, not a fancy office. We have a few fans going all the time to keep the air moving. People from all over Andheri come to us because they’ve seen our name around. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just focus on getting the signs made and out the door. It’s a noisy, busy, and sometimes cramped way to work, but it’s how things are in this part of the city. We have a small radio that plays music to drown out some of the traffic noise.
