We are based in Andheri East, specifically in Gala No 123 of Building No D in the An area. It’s a standard industrial unit, so it’s not the most peaceful place to be. There is always the hum of machines and the sound of things being moved around. We work with plastics here, and that means the air usually has a bit of a heavy smell. Our workspace is filled with big rolls of material and bags of raw plastic beads. We don't have a separate office, so we just have a couple of desks pushed against the wall near the front door. It’s often quite hot inside, especially during the summer months when the machines have been running all day. We’ve been in this building for a long time and have gotten to know the other workers in the neighboring units. We often share tools or help each other out with loading stuff onto the trucks. We don't do any fancy advertising or have a big sales team. Most of the people we work with have been coming to us for years. We just focus on getting the production done and making sure the machines don't break down. It’s a lot of manual labor, and our clothes are usually a bit dirty by the end of the shift. We just come in, do the job, and head home to our families. It’s a straightforward way to make a living and get by.
