Shree Sai & Sodde

We are located in the Vikroli West Industrial Area, Phase 1. Shree Sai & Sodde has been operating out of this space for a good while. Being in an industrial zone means it’s not exactly a quiet or pretty place to work. There are trucks moving all day and the sound of machinery from the units next door is constant. Our shop is where people come when they need specific things during their shift or on the way home. It’s a functional space. The walls are painted a dull cream color and we have heavy metal shutters that are a bit hard to pull down in the evening. We don't have a big sign with neon lights. Most of our regulars work in the nearby factories. They know we are here. We keep a stock of what’s needed, and if we don’t have it, we try to get it by the next day. There’s no big corporate office behind us, just me and a helper. We handle the accounts in a thick ledger book instead of a fancy computer. It feels more reliable that way. The tea stall across the lane makes the best snacks, so that’s usually where we are during the lunch break. It’s a gritty area, but the people are honest and hardworking. We fit right in and keep the business running as best as we can every day.
