Shree Laxmi Time & Communication

Shree Laxmi Time & Communication is located right at Chinoy Colony Bazar 30. It’s a busy little corner where there is always something going on. We deal with watches and phones, which means people are always coming in with something that stopped working or needs a bit of a fix. The shop isn't very large, so it can get pretty cramped when three or four people are inside at the same time. We have watches lined up in the cases, and sometimes the ticking sound is the only thing you hear when it’s quiet. But it’s rarely quiet in Chinoy Colony Bazar. There’s usually someone shouting outside or a bike honking in the lane. We’ve been at this spot for a good while now, so we know most of the people who walk past our door. If someone’s watch strap breaks or their phone screen goes dark, they usually bring it over here. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. Everything is just laid out where it fits on the shelves. Sometimes we get busy talking to a neighbor and forget to tidy up the counter right away. It’s a simple life running a shop like this. We open the shutters in the morning and wait for the day to start. It feels good to help someone get their phone working again so they can call their family. We just take things one day at a time here at number 30.
