Shree Ganesh Music Centre

Down Gaodevi Road at number 8 in Bhandup West, that is where you will find Shree Ganesh Music Centre. We started out mostly with music, tapes and CDs and all that, but things change. Now we do a bit of everything with electronics too. Bhandup is a busy area and Gaodevi Road has a lot of foot traffic. We still have some old speakers around and people come in looking for cables or maybe a new set of earphones. It is a bit of a squeeze inside with all the stock we have piled up. We try to keep it sorted but sometimes things get buried. The shop has a specific smell, like old plastic and electronics. We spend our days behind the counter. Some people just come in to hear some music or ask about a specific song they can't find. We have a lot of regulars from the neighborhood who have been coming here for years. It is a humble place, nothing fancy at all. The floor is a bit worn out from all the walking. We open up early and stay till late most days. It’s a good spot to see what’s happening on the street. We don’t have a big staff, it’s just us. We handle the sales and the cleaning and everything else ourselves. It keeps us busy and we like being part of the local scene here in Bhandup.
