Shree Ganesh Engineering

Shree Ganesh Engineering is located at number 5 on Patel Road. It is a basic engineering workshop where we do a lot of manual machining and fabrication. The main feature of the shop is the old lathe machine that has been with us for years. It still runs well, though it makes a bit of a racket. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings that we sweep up at the end of every day. We handle a variety of small jobs for local businesses and people who need parts fixed or made from scratch. It is just a small team of us working here. Patel Road can get very congested, so getting materials delivered can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We have a small desk in the corner where we keep our sketches and measurements. It is mostly covered in dust. We don't use fancy computers for our designs; usually, a pencil and a piece of paper do the trick just fine. The air in the shop always has that sharp smell of cutting oil. We wear old clothes because they always get stained with grease anyway. It is a simple life of measuring, cutting, and welding. We aren't a massive factory, just a local shop where we take pride in getting the dimensions right. If the door is open, it means we are working, which is most of the time except for Sundays. It's noisy and dusty but it's what we do every day.
