Shifa Jadi Booti

Our shop, Shifa Jadi Booti, is located at Shop No 4/14 in the Panchasheel Hous area. Even though the address says Andheri East and Chandigarh together, we are right here in our small corner where we keep all our traditional herbs and roots. The shop is a cozy space, packed with different types of "jadi booti" that we have sourced. It smells like a mix of dried leaves and earth when you walk in, which is something we have grown to love. We spend a lot of time cleaning the herbs and making sure they are stored in the right containers so they stay fresh. It's a very hands-on job. There is usually someone at the counter ready to help whoever walks in with a specific request. The Panchasheel Hous area is where we spend our whole day, talking to regulars and keeping the inventory in check. We don't have a computer system for everything; a lot of it is still done with notebooks and pens, which feels more natural to us. The shop might look a little crowded because we try to stock as much as possible in a limited area. It is a simple life here, just focusing on the plants and the people who need them.
