Our address is 41 Karel Wadi, in the Shubh Niwas building near Charni Road and Thakurdwar. This is an old part of Mumbai, and you can feel the history in the narrow streets and the way the buildings are tucked together. Sandu Pharmaceuticals Lts. has been around for quite a while, and being in Thakurdwar means we are right in the thick of things. It’s a very busy neighborhood with a lot of walk-in traffic and local shops. Our office is in a traditional building, so it doesn't look like those new glass towers you see in other parts of the city. It has a bit of a lived-in feel, which we actually like. We spend our days managing the pharmaceutical side of the business, which involves a lot of tradition mixed with modern requirements. The bells from the nearby temples and the sound of the trains at Charni Road are just part of our daily soundtrack. It can be a bit crowded, and getting supplies in and out of Karel Wadi takes some skill because of the narrow lanes. We don’t have a lot of extra space, so every corner is used for something, whether it’s filing or storage. The team is like a small family because we’ve worked together in this tight space for so long. We just get on with it, handling our pharmaceutical tasks as they come. Charni Road is always humming with people, and sometimes we just watch the crowds from the window for a minute before getting back to the ledgers. It's a bit dusty in here sometimes because the building is old, but we keep it as clean as we can. We don't have any big corporate goals; we just want to keep the Sandu name going in Thakurdwar like we always have. It’s about the daily grind and making sure the orders are filled. We use old-fashioned methods for some things and computers for others. It’s just how we operate in this part of Mumbai. There's no use trying to be something we aren't.
