Indiana Herbals

We have been operating out of 12, Madhav App. in the Chedha Complex for a while now. This part of Malad West is always busy, especially around Block No.5 where our office is. Indiana Herbals is not a big corporate setup. It is just a place where we handle various herbs and plants. My desk is right by the window so I can see the delivery trucks coming in. We spend most of our mornings checking the bags that arrive from the farms. It can get a bit dusty with all the dried leaves and powders, but we are used to it. Sometimes the labels on the bags get torn during transport, so we have to spend time fixing those. It’s not fancy work, but it needs to be done. We try to keep the storage area as dry as possible because the humidity here in Malad can be quite high. When the rains come, we have to be extra careful with the stock. A few of us have been working here together for years, so we have a good routine. We don't have a big fancy lobby for visitors. Mostly, it’s just us and the stacks of product waiting to be shipped out. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the inventory matches what is on the paper. It is a simple life and we like the neighborhood. We know the local tea seller and the other shop owners nearby quite well.
