Shekhar Engineering

Shekhar Engineering is tucked away in the Gendalal Mill Compound, right at number 2709 in Shivaji Nagar. It’s an old area, and the Dhulerdjl Shivaji Nagar Ramnagar side stays pretty crowded throughout the day. We’ve been set up here for a long time, dealing with all sorts of engineering tasks. The workshop isn't very large, but we make use of every inch of space we have. Working in a place like Shivaji Nagar means you get to know your neighbors well. We mostly deal with mechanical parts and repairs that people bring in. It's dusty and there’s always grease on someone's hands, but that is just the nature of the job. We don’t spend money on shiny brochures or websites. Most of our time is spent looking at drawings or fixing a machine that stopped working. The address might be a bit confusing for someone visiting the first time because the mill compound is quite big, but once you find us, we’re usually right there in the middle of it. We keep a steady pace here. Some days are more hectic than others, especially when a big order comes in at the last minute. We don’t have a corporate structure; it’s just a few of us making sure the engineering work gets done right. Shekhar Engineering is just a regular local business trying to do a decent job every day for the folks around the Ramnagar area and beyond.
