Shashank Thatte

Shashank Thatte is located on the first floor of the Thatte Building in Dadar West. It’s an older building that has been around for quite some time, and it’s easy to spot since the name is right on it. Being on the first floor is convenient because it's just a short flight of stairs up from the street. Dadar West is always buzzing with people and traffic, so there’s a lot of energy right outside the door. The office itself is quite simple and hasn't changed much over the years. We have some wooden cabinets for all the files and a couple of sturdy desks. It feels more like a traditional family workspace than a modern corporate office. We don't have any glass partitions or fancy carpets. The floors are plain, and the ceiling fans keep the air moving. We spend our days going through documents and talking to the people who come in for help. Since we are in Dadar, we are close to everything, which is handy for running errands or getting lunch. The windows look out over the street, so we see the vegetable vendors and the shoppers going about their business. It can be noisy, but it’s the kind of noise you get used to after a week. We don't use any complicated systems; we just stick to what works for us and the people we serve. It’s a practical setup in a central part of the city.
