Sharp Trading Co.

You can find us over at Zainab Villa, which is No. 146 on S.V. Road in Khar West. We are right on the 39th Road, directly opposite the masjid in Old Khar. It is a very busy spot and there is always something going on outside our door. We do general trading, which basically means we buy and sell all sorts of things depending on what is in demand. Our office is on the ground floor and it is packed with samples, boxes, and folders. We have an old ceiling fan that makes a bit of noise, but it works well enough. Because we are right on the main road, we get a lot of people just popping in to say hello or to ask about what we have in stock. It is a very social way to do business. We have occupied this office for many years, so we know all the local characters and shopkeepers on S.V. Road. The traffic is always loud, but we don't even hear the honking anymore. My desk is right by the window, so I get to see everything that happens on the street. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. Most of our business comes from people we have known for years. It’s an old-school way of working, but it works for us. We just take things one day at a time and try to keep our customers happy. It’s a simple life and we like it here.
