Sharad Plastic Industries

Sharad Plastic Industries is located in Goregaon East, inside the Mayani Estate at Gala No 1. We are right in the Thakur Village area, which is always busy. It’s an industrial unit where we deal with plastic manufacturing. We have several machines that run through the day, and it can get quite hot inside the gala, especially during the summer months. We make various plastic items, mostly things that other companies use for their own products. It’s not a glamorous job. There’s always bits of plastic scrap on the floor and the sound of the injectors is constant and loud. We are a small team here. Most of us have been working these machines for many years now. We don't have a fancy office upstairs; our desk is just in the corner of the work floor. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a big order, and other times we finish early. We don't do a lot of talking while the machines are on because you can't hear much anyway. We just watch the molds and make sure the plastic is setting right every time. It’s a practical business for practical people. We’ve been in Mayani Estate for quite a while now. People know us as the place that handles the plastic stuff. We just keep to ourselves and get the production done as best as we can without much complaint.
