Shanti Plastic Industries

We have been running Shanti Plastic Industries over in Goregaon East for quite a few years now. Our place is at Sector 17D, specifically 81/A. It’s a busy industrial area and our unit is usually humming with the sound of machines from early morning until late. We mainly focus on making various plastic items that people need for their own businesses. It is not a very large setup, but we manage to get a lot done in the space we have. Most of the day is spent checking the molds and making sure the plastic is setting right. Sometimes the heat in the workshop gets to be a bit much, especially in the summer months, but we just keep the fans going and carry on. My nephew helps me with the deliveries and the paperwork when he is not busy with his own studies. We have a lot of regular customers from the neighborhood who just drop by to see how their orders are coming along. The floor is often covered in small plastic scraps and we have to sweep up constantly to keep things somewhat tidy. It is just a normal, hardworking place where we try to do a decent job every day. We don't have a big front office or anything like that. If you come by, you will likely find us on the shop floor with grease on our hands. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy enough to stay out of trouble.
