Shamsher Communication

Shamsher Communication is located at Parel Naka 2. Parel has changed a lot with all the new towers, but the Naka still feels like the heart of the old area. Our shop is right there where all the action is. We mostly deal with mobile phones and all the little things that go with them. It’s a small place, so we have to make use of every inch of wall space for our stock. We see a lot of people every day. Some are just passing through, and others live in the chawls and apartments nearby. We’ve become a bit of a landmark for people looking to fix their phones. We don’t have a fancy reception desk. You just walk in and talk to us across the counter. We’ve been doing this for long enough that we can usually figure out what’s wrong with a phone pretty quickly. The days can be long, especially when there’s a lot of repair work piled up. We listen to the radio or just the sound of the bikes outside. It’s a grounded kind of work. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in Mumbai. We just want to be the place in Parel Naka where you can get your phone sorted without any fuss. It’s just us, some tools, and a lot of patience. Sometimes it gets loud, but we don't mind. We just keep our heads down and get the repairs done.
