Shakuntala Ayurvedic

Our shop is on Mahadev Street in Borivali East, specifically at number 5. We are quite close to P M Jewellers, so that’s a good way to find us if you’re lost. Shakuntala Ayurvedic is a small place, but we carry a lot of different items. We have rows of jars filled with herbs, and plenty of bottled oils on the shelves. The floor is made of stone and stays cool even when it’s hot outside. We have a small bench outside where people sometimes sit while they wait for their orders to be packed up. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so you’ll usually see one of us behind the counter. We don’t really believe in big flashy signs or loud music. We just keep the door open and let the breeze in. Mahadev Street is a nice place to be, with a lot of other small businesses around us. We know most of the other shopkeepers and we look out for each other. Sometimes we run out of something popular and have to wait for the next delivery, but that’s just how it goes. People come to us for traditional remedies that they’ve used for years. We do our best to find exactly what they need in our inventory. It can be a bit chaotic with all the boxes, but we know where everything is. It’s just a simple, honest shop that’s been part of the street for a long time. We like it here.
