Shakti Trading Co.

Shakti Trading Co. is located at Shop No 3 in the Shree Harihar Co Op Hsg Society. This is right in Mohili Village, which is part of the Sakinaka area in Andheri East. If you know Mumbai, you know Sakinaka is one of the busiest places you can find. Being inside a housing society means we are right in the middle of where people live, so we see our neighbors every day. Our shop is small and packed from floor to ceiling with whatever we are trading at the moment. It is a bit of a squeeze to get around inside, but we make it work. Most of our day is spent talking to people who drop by or answering the phone to check on stock levels. The traffic outside in Andheri East is always a bit of a mess, so we usually tell people to come early if they want to avoid the worst of it. We have been here for a good while and the shop has become a bit of a fixture in Mohili Village. We aren't looking to become some giant corporation; we are happy just running our little corner here. There is always a lot of chatter and the sound of the city coming in through the open door. We just focus on the daily trades and making sure the inventory is right at the end of the day.
