Shakti Enterprises

Our place, Shakti Enterprises, is on Shimpoli Road in Borivali West, right across from Gaurav Garden. It’s a pretty good spot because of the greenery across the street, even if the road gets really packed during rush hour. We deal with various bits of business here every day. The office is mostly just desks and a lot of paper. Sometimes we watch the people walking in the park when we’re waiting for a call to go through. It’s a regular shopfront with a glass door that sticks a little bit in the summer. We’ve been here for quite some time now, so we know the other shopkeepers on the block. The floor is tiled and we try to keep it clean, but people bring in a lot of dust from the street. We don’t have any fancy signs or flashing lights. It’s just a place where we get our work done. Most of the day is spent handling orders and talking to people who walk in. The afternoon sun can be quite bright, so we usually pull the blinds down around two. We have a small radio that plays local stations in the background while we work. It’s not a big corporate operation, just a few of us making sure everything runs okay. If there’s a problem, we just talk it out and fix it. That’s how we operate here in Borivali. It’s just a normal part of the street where we spend our time.
