Shakti Acrylics

You will find Shakti Acrylics over at Sardar Marg 9 in the Goregaon Sion Koliwada area. It is a bit of a mouthful to say the address, but once you get here, it is a straightforward place. We work with acrylic sheets all day. We cut them, bend them, and glue them into different shapes. The floor is always covered in these tiny white plastic chips that stick to your socks. It is a bit like working in a snowstorm sometimes. We have a couple of large cutting tables that take up most of the room. The air smells a bit like burnt plastic when the saws are running hot. We aren't a big corporation with a fancy logo. We just have a sign outside that has faded a bit in the sun. Goregaon is a busy place, and we are tucked away in a spot that stays pretty active until late at night. We don't have a receptionist; if the phone rings, whoever is closest to it picks it up. Sometimes we get complicated orders that take a lot of head-scratching to figure out. We don't mind, though. It's better than being bored. We have a small radio that plays the local stations, which helps pass the time when we are doing repetitive work. It is a humble shop, and we like it that way. We just focus on the task at hand and try to get it done right for whoever walks in.
