Shah Farm

Out on the 7th kilometer of the Banashankari-Kengeri Link Road, you will find Shah Farm. We are situated in Channasandra Village, near the Subramanya Post. It is a bit of a drive from the main city, so things are a lot quieter out here. The air is different, and you don't hear the constant honking of cars. We spend most of our time outdoors or in the sheds. It is a lot of physical work, keeping things running on the property. The ground is often muddy, especially after it rains, so we all wear old boots that have seen better days. We don't have a formal office with a big desk. Usually, if we need to write something down, we just do it on whatever paper is handy. The village surroundings mean we know most of our neighbors and we see the same faces every day. It’s not a fast-paced life. We follow the rhythm of the day, starting when it gets light and finishing up when it starts to get dark. There is always something that needs fixing, whether it is a fence or a piece of equipment. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just stay busy with the land and the animals. It is a simple existence, away from the rush of the town, and that is just fine with us.
