Shah Children

Shah Children is located right here in Govandi East. You can find us at Shop No 9 in Ralkar Chambers, which is a pretty easy landmark since we are right near the Jain Temple. We spend most of our days here dealing with children's items. The shop isn't huge, but we pack a lot into it. It can get a bit cramped when we get new stock in, but we try to keep it tidy for anyone walking in. People from the neighborhood stop by often just to see what’s new on the shelves. Working in Govandi East means we see a lot of the same faces, which is nice. Sometimes the traffic outside near the temple gets a bit much, especially on festival days, but we’re used to it. We don't do much advertising; mostly it’s just folks passing by or neighbors telling each other about us. We try to keep the hours regular so people know when they can drop in. It’s a simple setup, really. Just a counter, some shelves, and us trying to keep everything in order. Usually, there’s a bit of dusting to do every morning before we open up. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us making sure the shop stays running. It’s quiet sometimes and very busy at others. We just take it as it comes and stay focused on the day's work. It is just a local shop doing its thing.
