Our office is tucked away in the Everest Building on Ramdev Nagar Road, which is right by the Gowalia Tank area. If you know the E-9 section, that is where we spend most of our time. It’s a typical office space with a lot of phones ringing and people coming in to talk about jobs. Being in a building like Everest means there is always someone coming or going in the hallways, and the lift is usually a bit of a wait during the lunch hour. We spend a lot of time looking at resumes and talking to folks who are looking for a new start. It can get a bit hectic when a lot of people show up at once, but we try to keep things moving as smoothly as we can. The view outside isn't anything special, just the busy street and the other buildings, but the area is lively. We have our desks set up with the usual computer gear and stacks of files that we try to keep organized. It is a lot of talking and listening, really. We don't have any big corporate slogans on the walls or anything like that. It is just a place where we do the work of connecting people with companies. Sometimes the tea stall downstairs is the best part of the afternoon when things get a little slow. We just stay focused on the day-to-day tasks and try to keep up with the emails that never stop coming in.
