You can find us at Gala No. 6/7 in the Upadhyaya Estate. We are right there near the Western Express Highway, so we hear the trucks and cars zooming toward the toll naka all day and night. It’s a loud spot, but it’s convenient for getting things shipped out. The workshop is usually a bit messy with metal scraps and oil, but that’s just how engineering goes when you’re actually making things. We have our machines set up in the galas and the guys are always busy fixing something or running a new part. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, especially when all the equipment is running at once. We usually have the fans going full blast just to keep the air moving. Dahisar East has changed a lot over the years, but this estate stays pretty much the same—just a bunch of people working hard. We don't spend much time sitting in fancy chairs. Most of the day is spent standing over a workbench or looking at parts. Sometimes we have tea brought in from the stall nearby when we need a break. It’s practical work. We take the jobs as they come and try to get the measurements right. There’s no big secret to what we do, just a lot of grease and keeping the machines maintained so nothing breaks down mid-shift. It's a long day, but we prefer being hands-on with the metal rather than sitting in a cubicle.
