Sayed Trading

Sayed Trading operates out of Shop No 98 on Madan Street in Masjid Bunder West. We are right next to Chira Bazaar, which is one of the busiest trading hubs you can find. Our shop is filled with all kinds of goods stacked up to the ceiling. It is a narrow space, like most of the shops in this area, and we have to be very organized to know where everything is kept. Trading here means we are constantly dealing with suppliers, loaders, and customers who are looking for a good deal. There is a lot of shouting and haggling that goes on in the street outside, and it often spills over into the shop. We don’t have a fancy showroom; it is more of a warehouse where business happens across a small counter. We’ve been here for years, and we know the other traders on the street well. The days are long, starting early in the morning when the goods arrive and ending late when the last orders are packed. It is hard work. It’s a lot of manual work, moving boxes and checking invoices. We don't spend much time on decorations or making the place look pretty. For us, it’s all about the stock and making sure the orders are correct before they leave the shop. It is a rough and tumble environment, but it is where we do our best work. We just stay focused on the trade and keep the business running.
