Being near the Tata Power House makes finding our unit at G-6 pretty easy. We are located in the Shalimar Industrial Estate in the Matunga Labour Camp area. It’s a very busy part of town with lots of people and noise all the time. Our shop is tucked into the estate and it’s been there for years. It’s a small unit, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need inside. Matunga is a good place to be because there’s always something happening nearby. We aren't big on appearances. The walls could probably use a coat of paint, but we’d rather spend that time on the work itself. We mostly deal with whoever walks through the door or calls us up. There isn't a marketing team or a sales department here. It’s just the people on the tools. Sometimes the power in the estate flickers, but we just wait it out and get back to it. We have a lot of regulars who have been coming to us since we first opened the doors. We don't have a fancy office, just a small corner with a table and a couple of chairs where we keep the papers. It’s a tight-knit place. We just do the work, keep the machines oiled, and try to stay on top of things. It’s a lot of manual labor but we’re used to it. The day usually starts early and ends when the sun goes down.
