You can find us at Arogya Sadan in J B Nagar, which is over in Andheri East. We are situated on the 7th Cross of the 2nd Main, right near the Lakshmi Narayan Temple. It’s a peaceful enough spot for an ayurvedic shop, I think. We have been here for quite some time now, keeping all sorts of traditional medicines and herbal things on our shelves. The shop has that distinct smell of dried roots and powders which some people like and others find a bit strong. We aren't a big modern pharmacy with bright lights. It’s more of a traditional place where things are a bit dusty and the wooden cabinets are old. We get a lot of people from the Hal 2nd Stage area who come in looking for something for a cough or a bit of joint pain. We just pull out the jars and weigh things out or find the right bottle for them. It’s a slow kind of business. We spend a lot of time talking to the regulars who stop by just to say hello or ask about their families. Sometimes we run out of a specific herb and have to wait for the next delivery to come in. It’s just the way it goes here. We aren't trying to be anything big, just a local spot in Andheri for people who prefer the old ways of doing things. It's just what we do.
