Saniya Collection

Saniya Collection is tucked away in the Fort area at number 1. If you know Fort, you know the buildings are old and have a lot of character, but they also have narrow hallways and steep stairs. Our shop is filled with racks of clothes and stacks of fabric. We try to keep it organized, but when it gets busy, things tend to end up in the wrong piles. The light in the back room is a bit dim, so we usually bring things out to the front to show the colors properly. We’ve been here for years, serving the office crowd and the people who come to the area for shopping. It’s a small business, mostly just family and a couple of helpers. We don't have a big window display like the malls do. We just put a few of the newer pieces out where people can see them as they walk by. The floor is old wood that creaks when you walk on it, and the ceiling is quite high. We don't use any fancy sales tactics or anything. People just come in, look around, and if they like something, they buy it. Sometimes we have a chat about the weather or how much the city is changing. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for the noise of the traffic from the main road. We like being in this part of town despite the old plumbing and the occasional leaks.
