Samsung Electronics

We are located in Irani Mansion, which is one of those old Mumbai buildings. Our room is number 26 on the 304 level. If you know Sewri Cross Road, you probably know where the Pakiza Hotel is—we are right opposite that. It’s a very busy part of Mumbai, always noisy and moving. Getting up the stairs can be a bit of a workout, and the building has that old sea-air smell. We’ve been running the Samsung Electronics work out of this room for a while. It’s a tight space. We have shelves reaching up to the ceiling to hold all the parts and paperwork. It’s not exactly a modern corporate office, but it works for us. The windows are small, so we keep the lights on even during the day. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so be prepared for that. We see a lot of people coming through this area. It’s a real mix of folks. We don’t have a lobby or a fancy waiting room. You just come in, tell us what you need, and we see what we can do. It’s a very Mumbai setup—making the most of a small space in a crowded city. We try to keep things straightforward and honest. No big promises, just daily work in Sewri. Sometimes the tea stall downstairs is the best part of the day. The building manager is a bit grumpy, but we get along fine.
