Numeric Power Systems Ltd

Numeric Power Systems Ltd has its office in the Takshila Housing Society, right off Mahakali Caves Road in Andheri East. Mumbai is a very crowded place, and Andheri is probably one of the busiest parts. Our office is at 31-B/24, which is inside the society complex. It’s a bit unusual to have an office in a housing society, but it keeps things feeling a bit more personal. We have to be careful not to make too much noise because of the families living nearby. The space is a bit tight, as you can imagine for Mumbai. We have our desks close together, and there are wires running everywhere because of the power systems we handle. It can get a bit humid and stuffy, so we keep the windows open when the rain isn't coming in. During the monsoon, the walls get a bit of dampness, but we just ignore it. We all bring our lunch in dabbas and eat at our desks while watching the news. There isn't a fancy lounge or a coffee bar. We just have a small stove to make some tea. Most of us spend a lot of time on the phone or out at client sites. When we are in the office, it’s mostly just catching up on paperwork. It’s a very practical setup. We don't have any promotional posters or anything like that. We just focus on the day-to-day business and getting home on time.
