Khetwadi 8 is where you’ll find us. Unicom Appliances Ltd isn't some giant corporation with glass walls. We are just a group of people working out of a regular building in a busy part of the city. We deal with all sorts of appliances every day. It’s usually quite messy with boxes piled up and tools lying around on the benches. We’ve been at this address for a long time. The street outside is always full of people and small shops. It can be hard to find parking, which is a bit of a headache for our visitors. We spend our time fixing things or helping people figure out which machine works for their home. It isn't always quiet here. There is usually the sound of someone testing a motor or checking a connection. We drink a lot of tea while we work. It helps us stay focused when the heat gets bad in the afternoon. We don’t have a marketing team writing stuff for us. We just know how these machines work and we try to be helpful when someone walks in. Sometimes we run out of a certain part and have to wait for the delivery, which can be frustrating. But that’s how it goes in a place like Khetwadi. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the appliances are handled properly. It’s a straightforward business and we plan on staying here for as long as we can.
