I - Stix

Our place, I - Stix, is located at J 10, Plot No. 861, inside the 16 Cotton Press Building. It is on Magazine Street in the Darukhana area of Mazgaon, right near the Mira Dattar Dargah. This part of the city is very old and has a lot of history in the walls. The building itself is an old industrial structure with high ceilings and heavy wooden doors. You can smell the old wood and the dust of the street as soon as you walk in. We share the space with other businesses, so there is always a lot of movement in the corridors. Outside, Magazine Street is usually packed with trucks and people moving goods. It is a noisy, vibrant area. Inside our unit, we have our workstations set up. It is a bit cramped because we have a lot of materials stored in the corners. We do not have air conditioning, just some big fans that move the air around. Sometimes you can hear the prayers from the Dargah nearby, which is quite nice during a busy day. We work on our projects here, surrounded by the sounds of the neighborhood. It is not a modern office by any means, but it has character and it works for what we do. We just keep our heads down and get through the pile of work we have each morning.
