Samrat Plastic Industries

We are located at Gala No 12 in the Amrapali Industrial area, right on Vasavi Temple Street in Goregaon West. It’s been our spot for many years now. The workshop is usually a bit messy because we’re always in the middle of a job. We make various plastic items, mostly for other businesses around the city. It gets quite hot in here during the afternoons when all the machines are running at once. There’s about five of us who work the floor every day. We aren't a big corporation or anything like that. Just some local guys trying to earn a living. The street outside is always busy, especially in the mornings when people head to the temple. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time squeezing into the lane. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading crates. Our office is just a tiny corner with a wooden desk and a computer that’s seen better days. We don't have a fancy reception area. If you come by, you’ll probably find us covered in a bit of dust. We just focus on getting the orders finished so they can be picked up on time. It’s honest work and it keeps us occupied from morning until late evening. We have some tea around four o’clock and that’s usually the highlight of the day. Nothing too complicated goes on here, just making things and keeping the machines maintained so they don’t break down.
